The project is being developed by Hive Energy and Wirsol Energy. The project is currently owned by Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners with a stake of 100%.

Cleve Hill Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 360 hectares.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 102,000 households, to offset 68,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The solar power project consists of 550,000 modules.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Tesco under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.
