Description

The project is developed and owned by Acciona Energia.

The project generates 112GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households, offsetting 107,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $69.12m.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the El Cabrito-Repowered (El Cabrito-Repowered_I), site are 85m high.

Contractors involved

El Cabrito-Repowered (El Cabrito-Repowered_I) is equipped with Nordex N100/3000 turbines. The phase consists of 8 turbines with 3MW nameplate capacity.

El Cabrito-Repowered (El Cabrito-Repowered_II) is equipped with Nordex AW-70/1500 turbines. The phase consists of 4 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
