The project is being developed by EDF Energy Renewables, Forestry Commission Scotland and Partnerships for Renewables. The project is currently owned by EDF Energy Renewables with a stake of 49%.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 48,000 households, to offset 83,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status
