SDIC Power Holdings, CGN New Energy Holdings, Gansu Electric Investment and China Energy Investment are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51.22%, 30.73%, 15.37% and 2.68% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Baiyin Coal mine.
