Description
The project was developed by Sinohydro Corporation, Electricite du Laos. Sinohydro and Electricite du Laos are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 85% and 15% respectively.

The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 1 in number. The penstock length is 2,443m. The penstock diameter is 3.8m. The project generated 507 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $170m.
