Description

EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg, Canton of Aargau, Alpiq Holding, Axpo Power, Energiedienst and Evonik Industries are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 25%, 23%, 13.5%, 13.5%, 13% and 12% respectively.

Ryburg-Schworstadt is a run-of-river project. Ryburg-Schworstadt underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2010-2011, 2023-2027. The project generated 760 GWh of electricity.

The project construction commenced in 1927 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1930.
