SGET Chiba New Town Mega Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 15 hectares.

The project generates 1,280MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,000 households.

Toshiba Infrastructure Systems South America was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Toshiba was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 47,454 modules each with 270W of nameplate capacity.

The inverters were procured from Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems for the project.

The mounting systems have been supplied by Nichiei for the project.

Toshiba Infrastructure Systems South America is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
