Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Acwa Power. The company has a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel will be procured from JSC Uztransgaz.

China Gezhouba Group International Engineering is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.
Shirin Combined Cycle Power Plant (Shirin Combined Cycle Power Plant Unit I) will be equipped with Mitsubishi Power M701JAC gas turbines. The phase consists of 2 gas turbines.
Acwa Power and Mitsubishi Power are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
