The project is expected to generate 274,000MWh electricity to offset 274,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $74.36m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Kerala State Electricity Board under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.04kWh for a period of 25 years.
