Description

The project was developed by Windpark Zeewolde. The project is co-owned by Eneco UK and Pure Energie, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project generates 870,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 300,000 households, offsetting 500,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2020 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in July 2021.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Vattenfall under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.
