Description
The project was developed by Andhra Pradesh Power Generation, Bharat Heavy Electricals and Tecpro Systems. The project is currently owned by Andhra Pradesh Power Generation.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is coal. In case of shortage of coal the plant can also run on Oil. The fuel is procured from Singareni Collieries.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in March 1994.
