The project was developed by Marubeni. Kyudenko, ORIX and Kyuden Mirai Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 30% and 10% respectively.

Renatosu Soma Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 684,000 square meters.

The project generates 60,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 16,660 households. The project cost is $110.222m.

The project got commissioned in June 2017.

The power generated from the project is sold to Tohoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Kyudenko was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Hanwha Q Cells Japan was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 197,932 modules at the site.

Kyudenko is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
