Samba – Amargarh Line, India

Samba – Amargarh Line is a 400kV overhead line with a length of 547km from Samba, Jammu and Kashmir, India, to Amargarh, Punjab, India.

Construction works on the Samba – Amargarh Line project was commissioned in 2018.


The Samba – Amargarh Line, which is an overhead line, is being operated by Sterlite Grid. The Samba – Amargarh Line is a new line. The line carries alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The development of the Samba – Amargarh Line project was approved by Jammu & Kashmir State Electricity Regulatory Commission and the project works were completed in 2018.
