Description

The project was developed by Community Energy Solar and is currently owned by D.E. Shaw Renewable Investments.

Sigurd Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 700 acres.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 18,500 households. The project cost is $140m.

The project consists of 290,000 modules.

The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in June 2021.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Pacific under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 80MW.
