Silali – Emurulongoyak Line is a 400kV overhead line with a length of 40km from Silali, Rift Valley, Kenya, to Emurulongoyak, Kenya.

The project is expected to be commissioned in 2033.

Description

Silali – Emurulongoyak Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Kenya Electricity Transmission. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

Approximately $20.8m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
