Arctech has secured contracts for 425MW of new utility-scale solar projects in Central Asia, comprising a 100MW SkyLine II project in Kazakhstan and a 325MW SkyLine II project in Kyrgyzstan.
These contracts add to the company’s activity in the region, where it continues to supply solar tracking and mounting solutions for large-scale renewable energy developments.

The new projects will require solar tracker systems adapted to varied and challenging terrain.
In Kyrgyzstan, Arctech’s 325MW project will be built on ground subject to frost-heave, with gravel areas and complex topography.
The company responded to these site conditions with a tailored foundation solution specific to the local ground, while the SkyLine II tracker design was chosen for its adaptability to uneven terrain.
Installation efficiency was supported by extensive pre-assembly and optimised construction planning.
The 100MW project in Kazakhstan also faces difficulties arising from frost-heave soils and diverse geological conditions.
Arctech stated it delivered engineering optimisation and foundation verification for this location to ensure satisfactory integration of the trackers and foundations. The company also employed delivery planning suited to local site needs.
These projects highlight Arctech’s capability to combine terrain-adaptive tracking technology with location-specific engineering solutions. This approach enables continued deployment of utility-scale solar projects across diverse and varied environments.
The company has now delivered over 3.5GW of solar tracking and mounting systems across Central Asia, including more than 700MW in Kyrgyzstan and over 900MW in Kazakhstan.
Demand for utility-scale solar solutions is expected to continue as Central Asian nations advance renewable energy adoption.
Arctech stated it remains focused on developing its local expertise and working with partners and customers to meet long-term clean energy objectives in the region.
In January 2025, Arctech announced its agreement to provide 1.5GW of its SkyLine II single-axis solar tracking system to PowerChina for the Al Ajban solar photovoltaic independent power project in the UAE.
