The project has now reached ready-to-build status and construction is set to begin in the first quarter of 2025, with full operations by mid-2026.

The Hallanvahti solar park is being developed under a turnkey contract, covering the construction of the solar park, transformer station and grid connection, and ongoing operation and maintenance.

With an estimated annual production of 140 gigawatt hours, the solar farm will supply green electricity to 18,000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 29,300 tonnes annually

At the end of 2024, Eltel signed a conditional engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Taaleri Energia.

This strengthens Eltel’s position as an infrastructure service provider in the renewable energy sector during the ongoing energy transition.

In September 2024, Taaleri Energia, in partnership with Masdar, secured financing for the Čibuk 2 wind farm in Serbia. The project, expected to power 62,000 households, has secured a €144m debt facility.

The financing was provided by commercial lenders UniCredit and Erste (Erste Group and Erste Bank Serbia).

The wind farm is being developed through Masdar Taaleri Generation, a joint venture between Masdar and Taaleri Energia, in collaboration with Serbian developer New Energy Solutions.

In October 2024, OX2 entered an asset management agreement with Nuveen Infrastructure to oversee Finland’s Piiparinmaki wind farm, which began commercial production in the summer of 2022.

OX2 was tasked with the facility’s technical, commercial and financial operations to optimise performance.
