M&As this week: Tesla Motors, ENcome Energy Performance, and First State Investments

Tesla Motors (Tesla) has announced its intention to acquire all outstanding common shares of SolarCity Corporation's (SolarCity) common stock for approximately $2.8bn.

Tesla Motors (Tesla) has announced its intention to acquire all outstanding common shares of SolarCity Corporation's (SolarCity) common stock for approximately $2.8bn.

SolarCity is a provider of sales, financing, engineering, manufacturing, installation, monitoring and maintenance, and energy storage services for the solar industry.

ENcome Energy Performance has completed the acquisition of abakus solar, enabling it to become the leading independent photovoltaic (PV) service provider (ISP) in Europe.

SolarKapital acted as the advisor to ENcome for the transaction.

First State Investments has signed an agreement with KKR & Co to acquire its district heating company Coriance.

Coriance operates 29 regulated concessions in France, supplying heat to buildings and selling co-generated electricity to state-owned utility EDF. It also provides energy services in the heating sector.
