Nordex Group secured orders for wind turbine projects totalling more than 414MW across France, Belgium and Portugal at the end of 2025.

The contracts cover 15 wind energy projects featuring a combined total of 78 turbines. Each contract includes a multi-year service and maintenance agreement to support optimal performance and ongoing reliability of the turbines.

The turbines are set for delivery in 2027 and will feature models such as the N131/3600, N117/3600, N163/5.X, N149/5.X, N175/6.X and N163/6.X.

Installation will take place at hub heights of between 76 and 134m. Customer names and individual wind farm locations have not been disclosed at this stage.

The company states that these orders strengthen its position as a supplier of wind turbines in Europe and Portugal.

Nordex also received further orders from UKA (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen), a wind and solar park developer in Germany.

UKA ordered 33 turbines amounting to a total output of 224.4MW through an existing framework agreement. The agreements additionally provide for comprehensive maintenance services over a 20-year period.

The N175/6.X turbines will be installed across nine wind farms in regions such as North Rhine-Westphalia, Brandenburg and Thuringia.

Construction and commissioning will begin in 2027 depending on each project’s location. The turbines will be mounted on hybrid towers with a hub height of 179m.

UKA Group managing partner Gernot Gauglitz said: “In a market environment that has become more challenging, we are making good progress with the realisation of our project pipeline.

“The turbines we use are one of the factors contributing to the profitability of our projects. With this order, UKA has firmly ordered an additional 224MW from our premium partner Nordex.”

In December 2025, Nordex secured contracts from Alliant Energy to supply wind turbines in Iowa, US, marking a major advance for the region’s wind energy capacity.
