Typically, concentrations of H2O, CO2, CO, NO, NO2, N2O, SO2, HCl, HF, NH3 and CH4 are monitored continuously and different VOC’s can be measured as individual compounds. The instrument consists of a sample cell inserted into the stack or duct, a heated steel mounting flange and the interferometer unit in an IP65 enclosure that is directly attached to the flange.
There is no need for any span calibrations, zero calibration with instrument air every 24 hours is all that is necessary.
