Repsol to divest 25% stake in renewables business for €905m

The partnerships have set a short-term goal to develop onshore wind and solar photovoltaic projects in Spain.
The move is part of the Spanish company’s efforts to expedite the European Green Deal.
The project is located in the province of Zaragoza and involved an investment of €181m ($193m).
The deal to buy the 33% stake is thought to be valued at around €3.14bn ($3.31bn).
The portfolio includes regulated and operational solar farms with a total installed capacity of 82MWp.
The renewable energy will be delivered from projects located in Spain and Germany.
Plenitude will initially own a 25% stake in the Spanish floating wind technology developer.
