Petrogas - Skid Mounted Fuel Gas and Oil Systems

Petrogas supplies skid mounted fuel gas and oil systems for gas / energy distribution companies throughout the power industry. These primarily include fuel gas conditioning systems, fuel oil systems and scrubbing / filtering and heating sections.

For more than 50 years Petrogas has supplied installations for power plants on a worldwide basis. Our installations can be supplied according to all international rules and the regulations of local gas / energy distribution companies. Our skid mounted fuel gas and oil systems reduce erection, commissioning and start-up times on the site. Training programs for operators and maintenance people can be provided.

FUEL GAS CONDITIONING STATIONS

Petrogas is highly experienced in the delivery of complete fuel gas conditioning stations. There is a high demand for these facilities in power generation and other industries that rely on turbines and steam boilers. We develop installations according to all client specifications, local codes and standards.

Our facilities generally contain a filter / separators section, a heating section and a pressure reducing and metering section.

Petrogas ensures that these sections are skid mounted wherever possible. In certain situations a number of sections can be combined on a frame or mounted in a container.

Petrogas also delivers ESD inlet valve sections and knock out drum sections that remove large amounts of condensation that originate from natural gas pipelines.

Depending on the gas quality and requested efficiency, Petrogas can design a wide range of filter / separators. A number of gas heating sections are also available. One or more pressure control valves can be used to achieve pressure reduction, while we have a wide range of flow and quality metering equipment that is suitable for custody.

Our heating sections heat the natural gas to counteract the Joule-Thomson effect of the pressure reduction and can increase gas turbine efficiency. We offer shell and tube heat exchangers that operate with hot water boilers or steam, waterbath heaters, electrical heaters. Our metering sections are suitable for custody transfer and the monitoring of flow, energy and quality criteria. We supply:

FUEL OIL SYSTEMS

Petrogas' fuel oil systems form a major part of the gas turbine equipment sector. Petrogas also supplies pumping, heating and filtering equipment that are used to fulfil a number of essential procedures including fuel oil unloading, transfer to the day tank and forwarding into the gas turbine.

As well as fuel oil unloading, transfer and forwarding stations, Petrogas also supplies fuel oil metering / stations and LPG vaporiser systems. Our vaporiser systems are designed to start up gas turbines or run continuously on LPG.
