GORACON Windpower Access Systems is a full solution provider of climb, lift and platform systems. Years of experience result in high quality and durability of GORACON’s products. As a leader of innovation in the industry, GORACON provides custom designed solutions and integrates individual customer demands into the product development process. The company’s wide product range covers all access needs in the high access sectors, in particular the windpower industry.
GORACON’s product line includes wire rope and ladder guided service lifts, ladder climbers, tower assembly platforms, maintenance platforms, modular platforms and blade lifts, all of which meet the highest national and industrial standards and requirements.
GORACON’s service lifts offer reliable solutions for advanced access needs. Allowing the vertical transportation of more than one person at a time, the ladder or wire rope guided lift systems offer the highest level of safety and efficiency. The systems can be installed on both open and closed towers, on land, near-shore or offshore. In accordance with GORACON’s philosophy, all lift systems are customized to meet the customer’s needs.
Offering optimal climbing assistance and quick set-up, GORACON’s ladder climber assists the climber to ascend with an adjustable traction force. Attached to the ladder, the ladder climber pulls a rope which runs around the top end of the ladder in order to support the climbing individual. The system allows an automatic stop-and-go adjustment to the climber’s motions. Several safety features eliminate most accident risks.
The company’s modular platforms offer optimal flexibility for various applications and consist of the platform itself, a supporting frame and safety gear. The versatility of these platforms allows for various system modules to be used together in standard or special configurations. They are even adaptable to complex structures.
Today, the inspection of rotor blades and detailed technical documentation is an integral part of the maintenance requirements of wind turbines. The objective is to detect and limit any possible damage to the rotor blades. We develop blade lifts as individual solutions to meet your requirements.
We have provided custom wind turbine access platforms to many leading companies including ENERCON, REpower Systems, DeWind, conferdo, Seeba and BARD Engineering.
The most powerful wind turbines in the world are currently being constructed on the Rysumer Nacken near Emden, Germany. GORACON supplied the assembly platforms required for erecting the towers.
