The project is being developed by Hydrogene de France. Meridiam Infrastructure Finance SAr.l and Hydrogene de France are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 10% respectively.

French Western Guiana Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project is expected to generate 50GWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 10,000 households. The project is expected to offset 39,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
