Description

The project is being developed by Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, FRV Masrik and FSL Solar. Fotowatio Renewable Ventures and FSL Solar are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.

Masrik 1 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 100 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 150,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 21,400 households. The project is expected to offset 54,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Electric Networks of Armenia under a power purchase agreement at the rate of $0.041kWh.

Contractors involved

Jinko Solar will be the supplier of the PV modules for the solar power project. The company is expected to provide 180,000 modules each with 320W of nameplate capacity.
