The proportion of solar technology contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation with 42 contracts and a 40.4% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: 37 contracts and a 35.6% share
- Supply & Erection: 19 contracts and an 18.3% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: four contracts and a 3.8% share
- Electricity Supply: two contracts and a 1.9% share.
China tops Asia-Pacific solar power contracts activity
China was the top country in the Asia-Pacific region for solar technology contracts recorded in Q2 2021 with 27 contracts and a 26% share, followed by India with 27 contracts and a 26% share and Australia with eight contracts and a 7.7% share.
