Description

Guodian Changzhou Power Generation, China Resources Power Holdings, Jiangsu Guoxin Asset Management Group and Changzhou Investment Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 25%, 20% and 4% respectively.

It is a steam turbine power plant that is used for Baseload.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in May 2006.

Shanghai Power Erection No.2 was selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.

Shanghai Turbine was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 2 units of N630-24.2 / 566/566 turbines, each with 600MW nameplate capacity.

Shanghai Electrical Machinery Group supplied QFSN-600-2M electric generator for the Changzhou Power Plant (Changzhou Power Plant Unit I).
