Dudhkoshi Storage HPP is a 635MW hydro power project. It is planned on Dudh koshi river/basin in Sagarmatha, Nepal. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Description
The project is currently owned by Nepal Electricity Authority.
The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 1.581 million cubic meter. The project is expected to generate 3,443 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $1,523m.
The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2029.
