- Supply & Erection: 24 tenders and a 42.1% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: six tenders and a 10.5% share

North America leads energy storage activity in Q2 2021
Comparing tenders activity in energy storage segment in different regions of the globe, North America held the top position with 30 tenders and a share of 52.6% during Q2 2021, followed by Asia-Pacific with 12 tenders and a 21.1% share and Middle East and Africa with nine tenders and a 15.8% share.

Solar is leading technology for energy storage tenders in Q2 2021
Among the technologies, solar accounted for 28 tenders with a 57.1% share, followed by wind with seven tenders and a 14.3% share and hydro with six tenders and a 12.2% share.
Energy storage tenders in Q2 2021: Top issuers by capacity
The top issuers of energy storage tenders for the quarter in terms of power capacity involved were:
- Dominion Energy (United States): 1,100MW from one tender
- Ministry of Environment and Energy and PNM (United States): 700MW from one tender
- Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) (United States): 300MW capacity from one tender.
