Grimsel II is a pumped storage project. The gross head of the project is 400m. Grimsel II underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2012-2016. The project generated 550 GWh of electricity.
The project has 4 electric generators installed at the site. The generator capacity is 100 MVA.
