The project is being developed by Overland Sun Farming and is currently owned by Amp Energy Green with a stake of 100%.

Hillston Solar PV Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 393 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 235,000GWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 48,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $100m.

The solar power project consists of 300,000 modules.
