Kaligandaki Storage Project is an 844MW hydro power project. It is planned on Kaligandaki river/basin in Gandaki, Nepal. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2027 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2031.

Description
The project is currently owned by Government of Nepal.
The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 2,043 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project will be 217m and 206.15m respectively. The penstock length will be 200m. The project is expected to generate 3,075.12 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $1,149.342m.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2027. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2031.
