- Project Implementation with 16 contracts and a 38.1% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: 14 contracts and a 33.3% share
- Supply & Erection: ten contracts and a 23.8% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: two contracts and a 4.8% share.
Saudi Arabia tops Middle East and Africa solar power contracts activity
Saudi Arabia was the top country in the Middle East and Africa region for solar technology contracts recorded in Q2 2021 with 12 contracts and a 28.6% share, followed by Egypt with four contracts and a 9.5% share and South Africa with three contracts and a 7.1% share.

The top issuers of contracts for the quarter in terms of power capacity involved in Middle East and Africa were:
- Saudi Power Procurement (Saudi Arabia): 2,970MW from seven contracts
