New West Damietta Power Plant (New West Damietta Power Plant Phase I Unit I) is equipped with GE Power PG 9171E gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 125MW nameplate capacity.

New West Damietta Power Plant (New West Damietta Power Plant Phase I Unit II) is equipped with GE Power PG 9171E gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 125MW nameplate capacity.

New West Damietta Power Plant (New West Damietta Power Plant Phase I Unit III) is equipped with GE Power PG 9171E gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 125MW nameplate capacity.

New West Damietta Power Plant (New West Damietta Power Plant Phase I Unit IV) is equipped with GE Power PG 9171E gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 125MW nameplate capacity.

New West Damietta Power Plant (New West Damietta Power Plant Phase II) is equipped with GE Power D200 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 250MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.

Doosan Engineering & Construction supplied steam boiler for the project.

About East Delta Electricity Production

East Delta Electricity Production Company (EDEPC), is a wholly owned company of the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC). The company owns and operates oil fired power generation facility. The company is primarily engaged in generation of electricity using diesel fired combined-cycle power plant with a capacity of 750 MW at Nuweiba, on the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba, South Sinai Governorate. In addition, annually,the company also produces 20412 GWH of energy Moreover, the company’s power plant is also involved in design, installation, commissioning and start-up of the new control systems by Emerson Process Management. Furthermore, Doosan Heavy Industry & Construction Co and East Delta Electricity Production Company are engaged in a contract of $ 332.26 million for supply of boilers. EDEPC is headquartered in Ismailia, Egypt.
