Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Mass Group Holding. The company has a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Diesel. The fuel will be procured from Summail Gas Field.

Enka Power Systems is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Duhok Power Station (Duhok Power Station Phase III) project. Duhok Power Station (Duhok Power Station Phase I) will be equipped with GE Power 9E gas turbines. The phase consists of 4 gas turbines with 125MW nameplate capacity.

Duhok Power Station (Duhok Power Station Phase II) will be equipped with GE Power 9E gas turbines. The phase consists of 4 gas turbines with 125MW nameplate capacity.

Duhok Power Station (Duhok Power Station Phase III) will be equipped with GE Power C7 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 250MW nameplate capacity.

Duhok Power Station (Duhok Power Station Phase IV) will be equipped with GE Power C7 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 250MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power is expected to be the supplier of electric generator for the Duhok Power Station (Duhok Power Station Phase II).

John Cockerill Group is likely to be the supplier of steam boiler for the project.
