Description

The project was developed by RES UK & Ireland and SSE Renewables Services UK. SSE Renewables and Greencoat UK Wind are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50.1% and 49.9% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 40,000 households, offsetting 80,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 70m high.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2017.

Contractors involved

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 33 units of 2.85-100 turbines, each with 2.85MW nameplate capacity.
