Saeul 3 is a Generation III+ nuclear reactor.
The 1,400MW reactor is currently owned and will be operated by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power. The company has a stake of 100%.
Saeul 3 is a type of PWR reactor. It will feature 241 fuel assemblies in the core of reactor, the place where fission occurs and energy is released. The project cost is expected to be around $3,266.2m.
