The project is developed and owned by Solarvest Holdings.

Solarvest Selangor Floating Solar PV Park is a floating solar project which is spread over an area of 53 hectares.

The project generates 16,640MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,800 households, offsetting 11,548t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in October 2020.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Tenaga Nasional under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.051kWh for a period of 21 years.

Contractors involved

JA Solar Technology was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 38,790 modules each with 335W of nameplate capacity.

Sungrow Power Supply supplied 3 of its SG3400HV-MV-20 inverters to the project site.
