The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 60 contracts and an 83.3% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: six contracts and an 8.3% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: three contracts and a 4.2% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: three contracts and a 4.2% share.
Europe leads power plant activity in July 2019
Comparing contracts activity in power plant segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 34 contracts and a share of 47.2% during July 2019, followed by North America with 15 contracts and a 20.8% share and Asia-Pacific with 15 contracts and a 20.8% share.

Solar is leading technology for power plant contracts in July 2019
Among the technologies, solar accounted for 37 contracts with a 51.4% share, followed by wind with 18 contracts and a 25% share and thermal with ten contracts and a 13.9% share.

- Plambeck Emirates: 500MW capacity from one contract.

- Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives (United States): 514MW capacity from two contracts.
