The Shenao LNG Power Plant is 1,280MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Taipei, Taiwan. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2024.

Description

It is a thermal power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be liquefied natural gas. In case of shortage of liquefied natural gas the plant will run on Natural Gas. The fuel will be procured from Taiwan Third LNG Terminal.

The project cost is expected to be around $1,010.944m.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
