Description
Yunnan United Power Development and Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Myanmar are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.
The gross head of the project is 330m. The project generated 4,022 GWh of electricity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 2008.

Electric Power Generation Enterprise and Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Myanmar are the power offtakers from the project.
Contractors Involved
Union Resources & Engineering was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 6 units of francis turbines, each with 100MW nameplate capacity.
