Simbuwa Khola Hydroelectric Project is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 994m and 964.18m respectively. The penstock diameter will be 1.8m. The project is expected to generate 378.96 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $95.788m.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
