The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 67 contracts and an 84.8% share
  2. Project Implementation: nine contracts and an 11.4% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: two contracts and a 2.5% share
  4. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 1.3% share.

Europe leads T&D equipment activity in Q4 2019

Comparing contracts activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 53 contracts and a share of 67.1% during Q4 2019, followed by Asia-Pacific with 17 contracts and a 21.5% share and Middle East and Africa with four contracts and a 5.1% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D equipment contracts in Q4 2019

Among the technologies, wind accounted for 23 contracts with a 63.9% share, followed by solar with six contracts and a 16.7% share and thermal with four contracts and an 11.1% share.
