Indian energy solutions provider Inox Wind has secured an order from Atria Wind Power for the development of a 50MW  project in the state of Gujarat.

Under the terms of the deal, Inox Wind will be responsible for delivering and deploying 25 units of 113m rotor diameter turbines, along with the 120m hub height tower. These additions will allow Atria Wind Power to optimise its wind resources at the power project site.

Inox Wind's chief executive officer Kailash Tarachandani said: “We are pleased to further build on the success of Inox’s two platforms in India and expand our portfolio of projects in the state of Gujarat.

"Inox Wind will be responsible for delivering and deploying 25 units of 113m rotor diameter turbines."

“The 113m rotor diameter turbine together with the 120m hub height tower minimises the cost of energy and further strengthens the company’s competitive position as the fastest growing wind energy solutions provider in the country.”

Inox Wind will also be responsible for providing Atria Wind Power with other services, including development and construction of the project and its commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance services.
