Axial and Centrifugal Fans
Howden produces custom-designed centrifugal fans and fixed, adjustable pitch and variable pitch axial fans that are widely used throughout power generating plants.
As boiler draught fans, they are found not only in conventional coal, oil or gas fired stations but also in systems employing circulating fluidised bed boilers using fossil or biomass fuels.
They play an essential part in ancillary processes, such as flue-gas desulphurisation and selective catalytic reduction.
