Noise-reduction equipment quality control

The design and manufacturing of IMS’ range of noise-reduction equipment is controlled by our own engineers, who have extensive knowledge of the industry and individual trades. We use the latest computer aided systems. Drawings are produced in AutoCAD format and Solidworks 2005. Each process is followed and controlled by the quality control department to ensure the client's specifications are met.

We use a range of materials, including standard mild-carbon steels, corten A and B, boiler plate to BS-1501, up to stainless steel 304, 304L, 316, 316L and 321 types. All final welding conforms to the requirements of BS-EN 288 part III (1995)/ASM1 1X for procedures and BS-EN 287 part 1 (1995) / ASM 1 1X for welder certification via internal testing and a certified welding institution.

The finishing processes for standard heat-resisting paints are carried out on the company premises. More unusual finishes such as aluminium/zinc metal spraying, silicone sealing and galvanising can be offered as an extra, along with specialist paint finishes. Completed equipment can be delivered to the client.

Exhaust gas systems
