Coil Innovation Awarded Major Deal by ABB Sweden to Supply Air-Core Reactors to India

Coil Innovation has been presented with an important deal by ABB Sweden for the distribution of air-core reactors to India.

Under the project name RP800, an ultra-high-voltage direct current transmission (UHVDC) link will be constructed between Raigarh in Central India, and Pugalur in South India.

With a distance of 1,830km, this link is among the longest UHVDC links in the world. The new 800kV DC link with a maximum transmission power of 6000MW link will bring electricity to more than 80 million people. Coil Innovation will supply all necessary air-core reactors such as smoothing, filter, and PLC reactors.
