Janikowo FGD Plant Handed Over

Based on the wet limestone process, the Janikowo FGD Plant was handed over to the client CIECH Soda Polska S.A. on 1 June 2018.

The FGD plant is serving 2 OP-140 Boilers #4 and #5. This is second small-scale limestone wet scrubber completed successfully, demonstrating that wet limestone method is competitive also for such small-sized plants. The speciality of this FGD plant is that it is able to use adjacent semi-dry FGD end product as a ‘free of charge’ reagent and can transform its hazardous end product to commercial grade gypsum.
