Mr Osmo Härkönen, MSc (CE), currently vice president, project management, at Wärtsilä Power Plants, has been appointed vice president, group quality, at Wärtsilä as of 1 August 2010. He will be responsible for enhancing the quality of the products, services and operations. Osmo Härkönen will report to president and CEO Ole Johansson.

Osmo Härkönen is an experienced leader in Wärtsilä Power Plants’ business and projects. He joined Wärtsilä in 1999 and has since that time successfully led the execution of numerous power plant projects.
