Florida Turbine Engineering Leader Showcases Technology at Rockwell Automation Fair

Turbine Technology Services Corporation (TTS), a full-service gas turbine engineering services firm based in Orlando, Florida, will participate at the Rockwell Automation Fair, one of North America’s largest industrial expos, where Glenn Ayala, TTS business development manager for the Americas, will speak on the subject of turbine control retrofits in Latin American power plants.

TTS’s Glenn Ayala is scheduled to speak on 15 November, featuring the TMS-1000 control system, which has been installed in power plants in Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico following the company’s recent expansion throughout Central and South America.

The Rockwell Automation Fair brings together industrial automation control and information professionals, as well as end users and manufacturers of automation machinery all under one roof, allowing attendees to experience the latest products, services and software in the automation industry.

The TMS-1000 is designed to be a cost-effective, modular solution for retrofitting existing turbine control panels operating on an open architecture platform, a common need for Latin American utilities and energy facilities requiring equipment upgrades and retrofits to maintain operational efficiency and extend equipment’s technical lifetime.

"We are pleased to have installed the TMS-1000 in power plants from Mexico to the Southern Cone, and all points in between," said Glenn Ayala of TTS. "Our company has been instrumental in aiding Latin America in its quest to eliminate obsolescence in the power generation and gas compression industries."

This year the Rockwell Automation Fair will be held at the McCormick Place West in Chicago, Illinois, on 16-17 November 2011 and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary, adding to the automation industry’s interest in attending this important event.

As an energy professional with experience in the power generation and oil and gas industries, Glenn Ayala manages TTS’s business development efforts throughout the Americas. Ayala is also a graduate of Cornell University and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School, in addition to being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
